About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer to join growing security team in Dublin. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing security controls across our cloud environments. You will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure our infrastructure and applications are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
Conduct regular threat modeling, risk assessments, and security audits.
Monitor and respond to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and incidents in cloud environments.
Implement and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM), encryption, firewalls, and security groups.
Automate security controls and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security by design into all projects.
Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
Requirements
4+ years' experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Cloud Engineering.
Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong knowledge of network security, IAM, and cloud-native security tools.
Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and incident response.
Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform).
Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security.
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
