Platform Automation Engineer
Location: Dublin (Hybrid)
 
We’re looking for a Platform Automation Engineer to drive service reliability, performance, and automation across cloud platforms and infrastructure. This is a hybrid Dublin-based role with occasional travel.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Develop APIs, data models, and integration components
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability across systems
• Collaborate with cloud and app teams to ensure scalable, reliable solutions
• Troubleshoot incidents and support root cause analysis
• Contribute to performance tuning, capacity planning, and SLO improvements
• Mentor team members and support a DevOps/SRE culture

Specializations (Preferred):
Monitoring/Observability:

• Build and manage telemetry, alerting, and monitoring frameworks
• Automate release/change management processes

Data Protection/Recovery:

• Implement cloud-native backup and recovery solutions
• Design secure, automated data protection mechanisms

Skills & Experience:

• Strong background in automation, observability, and SRE practices
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.
• Familiar with infrastructure-as-code and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Solid understanding of identity & access management (SSO, LDAP, AD)
• Track record of reducing toil through scalable, automated solutions
