We are looking for our client for the position of Senior Infrastructure Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain resilient hybrid IT infrastructures that ensure high availability, security, and performance. The successful candidate will lead initiatives around cloud adoption, infrastructure modernisation, and network security, supporting clients in building scalable and secure IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage hybrid IT infrastructure solutions, including Microsoft Azure, on-premises environments, and virtualisation platforms.
Work closely with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and deliver customised, strategic solutions that align with their business objectives.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and deliver responsive technical support to maintain operational continuity and swift issue resolution.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an infrastructure engineering or similar technical role, ideally within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or enterprise IT setting.
In-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure, VMware, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and core networking and security technologies.
Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), or equivalent are strongly preferred.
Experience working with regulated industries or in complex IT environments is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across client and internal teams.
