Position: Data Scientist (Business Intelligence & Visualisation) Location: Galway, Ireland Reports to: CTO
We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in business intelligence and data visualisation. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, using statistical analysis, machine learning, and visualisation tools to support strategic decision-making.

Apply statistical techniques and build predictive models to support business decisions.
Create impactful dashboards and visualisations.

Use modern data tools to analyse and present information effectively.
What You Bring
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience:
2–5 years in data science or business intelligence.
Proven experience with data visualisation and dashboard creation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python and SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or Kibana.
Familiar with Elasticsearch and Docker.
Knowledge of machine learning tools like Scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
Preferred:
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
Understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and communication.
Self-starter with curiosity and adaptability.
Able to translate data for non-technical stakeholders.
